More Face

Once upon a very busy Tuesday evening there was a Mommy feverishly trying to prepare dinner. As she stood at the sink, laboring to peel potatoes her adorable, well-behaved children were playing and giggling in the nearby pantry. The pre-occupied mommy had no reason to question what her children were doing, for they often played in the pantry rearranging canned goods and getting snacks at will.

There was absolutely no reason for this mommy to think about the Chicken Express lunch she had purchased on Sunday. The lunch that she had stored in the fridge and then thrown in the trash can early Tuesday. She definitely had no reason to think about the gravy that was thrown out with the chicken leftovers.

This mommy was blessed with darling little girls. They were demur in personality and embodied manners that were a far cry from dumpster diving etiquette. So, when she pulled herself out of the beach vacation fantasy world she was dreaming of in her head to figure out what her darling children were giggling so hard about, she had no reason to worry. Upon this mommy hearing that her proper daughters were talking inbetween giggles, she decided to listen and try to figure out what they were saying, all the time continuing to peel away. So, you can imagine her suprise when she realized her sweet wall-flower esque children were saying, "More face! More face!" She thought...hmmm, what are they doing over there? At which point she turned from the sink to look.

And she most definitely did not believe her eyes when she realized that her sweet, innocent, prim and proper daughters, who were less than 3 feet away the whole time, were scooping out old gravy that had been thrown in the trash early in the day, and smearing it all over each other's face, all the time giggling, "More face sissy! More face!"
