We had an awesome Easter around here!
Easter morning in front of church. They are each eating some yummy treat. I think our kids enjoy our church 10% for the religion/spirituality aspect, 40% for the indoor play tubes, and 50% for the tables of yummy cookies, donuts, and who knows what else that it on display every week!

We didn't plant our real Easter grass this year, but we did play magic jelly beans! We had a storm blowing through the night before Easter so we had to plant them in a planter and not the flower beds. Look at what grew!

It was a really good thing we didn't plant them in the yard, but we had the worst hail storm I've ever experienced that same night. It was so loud and flat our scary. In fact, we are having our roof checked just to make sure things are alright.
Shaun and I hid plastic eggs all over our house for the kids to have an indoor egg hunt first thing in the morning. They really liked it!

The Easter Bunny filled up the baskets with a few favorites: coloring supplies, candy, Monster High clothes and flip flops, and a train for the sandbox. The Easter Bunny must know our kids well!

After opening baskets, church, and an Easter dinner it was time for the egg hunt! We told them to wait in G & L's room, but this is where I found them. Snooping at the back door!

Picking eggs!

It's fun now that they are older and we can hide the eggs in more challenging locations!

Checking her loot along the way!

Little heels are no problem for Miss Lilly.

Shortcut!

"Eck, daddy!"

I think you can see her happiness in this photo. Lilly was bouncing all over finding eggs. :)

My sweet Gab...she stopped to check out almost all the dyed eggs looking for ones that she had made.

Fight! They spotted the same egg and the race was on!

Searching the strawberry patch...

This is what happens when Uncle Jeffy helps hid the eggs...

We were missing 4 real eggs so the real hunt began.

"Where's my designated basket holder?"

Not too shabby...Parker ended up with most of the eggs that had quarters in them. The girls wanted the quarters and he wanted the eggs with candy. Oops.

Comparing notes...

We found one missing egg when Lilly jumped in the Jeep car and started driving. She ran right over an egg. Parker was so perplexed about why is was "cacked."

"What? Hanging from the bird feeder isn't normal? Who knew?"

We had such a fun and laid back Easter! We enjoyed yummy food and even better company! I hope your Easter full of spirit filled fun!
